Terms of Service

1) Accounts

You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.

2) Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy products. We may accept or reject any order at our discretion (for example, due to stock, errors, or suspected fraud). We’ll notify you by email when an order is accepted.

3) Pricing & availability

Prices and availability are subject to change. We try to be accurate, but errors may occur. If a pricing error affects your order, we’ll contact you with options to proceed or cancel.

4) Payment

We currently support Cash on Delivery (COD) in Uganda. You agree to pay the full amount due when your order arrives. If we add online payments later, they’ll be processed by a secure, PCI-compliant provider.

5) Delivery & pickup

• Delivery: Typical timeframes are shown at checkout and in your order confirmation. Delays may occur due to courier or external factors.
• Pickup: If you choose pickup, we’ll notify you when your order is ready and where to collect.
• Risk of loss: Transfers to you upon delivery or pickup.

6) Returns & refunds

Unused items in original condition can be returned within 7 days of delivery or pickup, unless stated otherwise for specific products. Contact hello@paularis.shop to start a return. Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the item.

7) Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Site (e.g., attempt to break security, scrape data, or engage in fraudulent orders). We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

8) Intellectual property

All content on the Site—including text, images, logos, and graphics—is owned by Paularis or its licensors and protected by applicable laws. You may not use it without our permission.

9) Warranties & disclaimers

The Site and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.

10) Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Paularis will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products.

11) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Uganda unless otherwise required by local consumer law.

12) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the new date at the top when changes are made. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
